With guests in town from Oz, and friends from both shores converging on Hayal, I wanted to drop it like it’s hot. +1 blew up the place. You came, and you brought your friends, and we loved playing for you. The crowd was amazing - energetic and entertaining. Your shoes are definitely made for dancing! At the next party, 22 October, we’ll keep the drinks plentiful and strong. The whole house - both floors - will be open from the start, so the atmosphere will be even crazier. Thanks for making +1 a success. Can’t wait till we do it again!

The morning of the party, having had only 3 hours of sleep , I was exhausted, like a jellyfish on a hot beach, awaiting to melt under the sun. Had to finish up the design of the posters before going to work, and send them to print. Of course, after work, we had to take care of the Hayal Bistro’s setting first, to make sure everything would go smoothly.
Time passed like the speed of light, and snap, it was already 10.30. People were coming. I was offering my friends some tasty +1 cocktails.
It was about half an hour later, when I forgot all about sleep. I realized the place had gotten entirely full, and people were dancing and cheering to the tunes of Dj John Daly, who was saluting people as he danced to his own tunes. The place was out of +1 cocktails, and the people who worked there were looking at us with a bit of a shock. The owner of the place would explain us (the next day) the meaning of that expression. He was definitely not expecting that good of a crowd. People who came must already know how mad we all got at the floor downstairs when Dj’s Duygu and Zeynep started playing their electro tunes, or when Dj Sal Diglo pumped the crowd up upstairs later on.
Still, I didnt have much sleep since the party, not a full one anyway, since I am quite busy these days; but who cares, +1 trumps a jellyfish state. Hopefully it always will.
